12 Plus One Exhibit at Sam Houston Memorial Museum

The Sam Houston Memorial Museum has opened the 12 Plus One exhibit on its ongoing research on the 12 people on Houston’s probate inventory in 1863 plus one who left. Born into slavery, they worked for the Houston family until becoming free citizens. The exhibit at Walker Education Center in Huntsville is open until February 22^nd.
