Bryan Reeder is a 7th generation Texan. He’s been in Texas radio since 1994, on the air in Lufkin/Nacogdoches, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Llano/Marble Falls, and Waco/Temple/Killeen. Bryan was a part of KAVX Lufkin’s internationally recognized news coverage of the Space Shuttle Columbia Disaster, winning the NRB Station of the Year. Bryan believes the primary purpose for any radio station is to be a voice for the community it serves. Bryan has degrees in Radio/Television Broadcasting, Business Management, and in 2021, earned his Master’s in Management and Leadership.
Along with hosting duties on The Lake, Bryan also serves as HEH Communications Operations Manager and Program Director. Bryan also consults on radio operations for a half-dozen other stations throughout Texas…under the strict supervision of his Chief of Security, Rebel the Chiweenie. Bryan and Ms. Judy have been married for 37 years and have four grown children, two daughters-in-love, three grand dogs, and a grand canary. (No grandchildren yet, but nagging as often as possible.)
