Solar Eclipse Festival at Sam Houston State University April 8

Sam Houston State University is hosting a Partial Eclipse Festival for the community and campus Monday, April 8^th, from noon to 3pm. Students and faculty will set up solar telescopes and interactive astronomy activities for all ages. Free eclipse glasses are available while supplies last. The festival location is the Frank Parker Plaza on campus. If it’s raining, the festival takes place in Farrington Building, Room 204. The festival is free. Hourly paid parking is available on campus.
