The Christmas season has arrived, and the Courier of Montgomery County has passed along holiday events you might want to attend in Montgomery County.
On Tuesday, the lighting of the official Christmas Tree of Conroe will get underway at Heritage Place Park located at 500 Metcalf Street.
Christmas on Main follows the tree lighting and offers a number of fun family events. Events are too numerous to mention them all, but there will be carolers, a hayride, letter-writing to Santa, facepainting and Santa at Mimi’s on Main.
At Founder’s Plaza at 7 PM, music gets underway with Conroe’s Jazz Connection group.
West Conroe Baptist Church presents a theatrical presentation of Bethlehem. It begins on Longmire Road December 1st through 3rd and 8th through 10th.
From 9 to 5 PM on December 2nd, the holiday Mistletoe Market gets underway at the Lone Star Convention Center. For a $5 admission you can visit 230 vendors. First responders, military and teachers with ID and children get in free.
At 21358 Eva Street, Cedar Brake Park will be lit at 6 PM, December 2, and feature Santa photos and kids can write letters to Santa.
Hope for the Holidays musical, produced by the Cassidy Joined for Hope nonprofit will take place from 6 to 8 PM December 2nd at College Park High School. Proceeds go to the organization which aids in preventing teen suicide.
