The Courier of Montgomery County reports that followed by a project start in November of 2023, a 24,000-square-foot expansion at Conroe’s Lone Star Family Health Center main campus is open and in use by patients and staff.
Tuesday afternoon, a dedication of the $11.4 million two-story space took place, presenting a large addition to the building that includes more medical exam rooms, an expanded patient intake area, a dedicated mental-health suite, upstairs office space, additional pharmacy space and additional meeting and break room space for staff.
The headquarters for Lone Star Family Health Center is in Conroe. Founded in 2002, it’s a full-service federally qualified health center and nonprofit.
