The 90-year-old Josey Scout Lodge held held their fourth annual Chilly at the Lodge International Chili Society cookoff over the weekend. It turned out to be a big success with 44 vendors, six cooks and 89 judges.
The purpose of the event is to annually raise funds for restoration repairs for the lodge and their foundation. Participants competed in four ICS categories. Chuck Edwards won first place for best chili verde. Diane Lewis won for best homestyle.
