Walker County under burn ban

According to the Huntsville Item, Walker County Commissioners Court agreed to enact a burn ban following the recommendation of Walker County Office of Emergency Management Director Butch Davis. Davis cited dry conditions throughout Walker County. The ban is currently in effect and may result in tickets if residents do not adhere to the ban.
