The Courier of Montgomery County reports that the 35th annual Conroe Cajun Catfish Festival returns October 11th through 13th on the downtown Conroe square. The headliners are Josh Ward and William Clark Green.
Every year the nonprofit group Friends of Conroe hold the event. The money made from the event goes to help out with student scholarships and the annual Friends Feeding Friends Thanksgiving meal.
Cajun music on the stage Friday includes Double Trouble Zydeco, Geno Delafose and French Rockin Boogie. Hitting the stage Saturday will be Keyun and the Zydeco Masters, Bayou Roux and Double Trouble Zydeco.
