Our guests on our “Around Town” public affairs program over the weekend were Sam Houston Political Science Professor Mike Yawn and Center for Law, Engagement and Politics student members Olivia Discon, Cinthia Villareal and Chrissy Biello.
The students are involved in a multitude of activities from volunteerism to internship. One of the many important things the organization is involved in is the Sam Houston Austin Internship Program.
Professor Yawn explained.
Look for LEAP organization students volunteering out in the community practicing SHSU’s motto: “The measure of a life is its service.”
