Wesley Memorial Methodist Church is looking for volunteers for Santa’s Helpers. It’s a community ministry for families in need of toys for children ages birth to 18.
At Christmas, $10,000 in toys are provided for 400-plus children. It’s a partnership between the Huntsville Community, the Good Shepherd Mission, and Wesley Memorial Methodist Church.
They need volunteers December 7th through 11th. Volunteers are needed to shop for toys and help set up, to help provide food for the workers during the week, and to help out the day the toys are distributed.
Join them the 2nd Saturday in December every year. Contact the church office at 936-295-7459 to learn how to volunteer or support the ministry.
Santa’s Helpers is unique in that it empowers parents to pick out toys for their children themselves and go home to wrap the gifts to to put under the Christmas tree.
