Looking back at police news for the past several days:
On Thursday, in the 2100 block of Avenue N, an unknown suspect forced entry into several vehicles in an attempt to steal property. In the 2400 block of Sam Houston Avenue, an unknown suspect took currency by deception. At the 118 Mile Marker on I-45, Ramon Mitchner was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and unlawful carrying of a firearm. At the same address, Ishmail Johnson was arrested for unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon. Also, at the same address, William Hilburt was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. In the 1500 block of 11th Street, Phenice Heslep was arrested for possession of marijuana and unlawful carrying of a weapon.
On Friday, an unknown suspect forced entry into several vehicles in the 2200 block of Bobby K. Marks. In the 2500 block of Avenue M, an unknown suspect stole a catalytic converter. On Boettcher Boulevard it was reported that a teacher caused injury to a child. In the 1500 block of 11th Street, Erica Jean Watson was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
On Saturday, a dating couple assaulted one another in the 2200 block of Cross Timbers. In the 300 block of 7th Street, Erick Torres Rivera was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and evading arrest with previous conviction. In the 1900 block of Quality Boulevard, Lucio Rodriguez was arrested for felon in possession of a firearm.
On Sunday, an unknown suspect fired multiple rounds from a firearm in the 2200 block of Bobby K. Marks. In the 2800 block of Lake Road, a known suspect assaulted a person causing bodily injury. In the 100 block of I-45 South, two unknown suspects stole property from a business.
On Monday, in the 3400 block of Boettcher Boulevard, a known suspect caused injury to a child. A vehicle was reported stolen in the 100 block of I-45 South. In the 200 block of Sam Houston Avenue, a known suspect sexually assaulted a victim.
