In Huntsville Police news, looking over the past several days:
Last Thursday, in the 100 block of Frostwood, a firearm was reported stolen out of an unlocked vehicle. Property was reported stolen in the 1300 block of 4th Street. In the 1200 block of Josey, a victim was assaulted by impeding breath. In the 2500 block of Sam Houston Avenue, Tony Sterling was arrested for public intoxication and criminal trespass. At the same address, Lacey Corner was arrested for a parole warrant. At the same address, Sa’Vion Winston was arrested for resisting and public intoxication. In the 4000 block of Sam Houston Avenue, Briana Ault was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and a bond revocation warrant.
On Friday, in the 600 block of Hutson Lane, an unlocked vehicle was entered and a firearm was stolen. In the 2500 block of Sam Houston Avenue, Quantes Harris was arrested for possession of marijuana. In the 500 block of Bowers, a person accidentally discharged a firearm causing serious bodily injury to themselves. In the 100 block of FM 247, HPD assisted the Walker County Sheriff’s Office at the scene of a recovered vehicle. In the 100 block of I-45 South, a possibly known suspect discharged a firearm, striking a vehicle.
On Saturday, a case of harassment was investigated in the 300 block of Comal Drive. A person threatened another in the 2500 block of Avenue M. In the 600 block of Highway 75 North, Steven Manning was arrested for DWI 3rd or more.
