In Huntsville Police news, looking back over the weekend:
On Friday, in the 100 block of I-45 South, a known suspect assaulted a victim over pokemon cards. In the 1000 block of MLK, a known suspect entered a vehicle and stole property. At the 109 mile marker on I-45 North, a known suspect pointed a firearm at the victim. At the 121 mile marker on I-45 Southbound, Huntsville PD assisted DPS with a traffic stop and a drugs arrest. Property was reported stolen in the 3500 block of Montgomery. In the 1000 block of 12th Street, Jennipher Page Smith was arrested for theft of property with previous conviction. Abisai Carbajal was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, municipal warrants and an out of county felony warrant in the 300 block of 16th Street.
On Saturday, a known suspect assaulted a victim in the 1400 block of 13th Street. Known family members assaulted one another in the 100 block of Sara Lane. At the 116 mile marker, Huntsville PD assisted DPS with a traffic stop, and warrant and failure to ID arrest. An unknown person struck a parked vehicle and fled the scene in the 1500 block of Normal Park Drive. In the 600 block of I-45 South, Pablo Castillo was arrested on an HPD warrant for unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and a parole violation warrant.
