Community Impact reports that Montgomery County Food Bank, according to a June 11th news release, has been chosen to be one of the first host organizations for Claude Corps. Claude Corps is the new national fellowship program launched by Anthropic.
In an effort to accelerate work underway, and led by the artificial intelligence company that created Claude, the program aims to train more than 1,000 AI fellows and embed them full-time at national nonprofit groups for one year.
Officials have reported that, regarding the Montgomery County Food Bank in the fall, the AI fellow is scheduled to join its team where they will start building tools to help predict food distributions and quantify significant data.
According to a June 18th news release, on June 13th, Montgomery County Food Bank drew over 600 participants to it’s 5K and 8K trail run, as well as it 1K color dash for the fifth annual Outrun Hunger event they hosted.
