The Courier of Montgomery County reports that headlining the 2026 Conroe Cajun Catfish Festival will be Texas country music singer Casey Donahew. He’ll be playing along with some returning Zydeco bands that are fan favorites.
October 9th through 11th are the dates set for the 37th Annual Festival at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds.
The festival’s proceeds support the annual Friends Feeding Friends Thanksgiving meal and student scholarships.
Not only will there be music, but there will be vendors, food booths, kid’s activities and a carnival.
Returning to the festival on October 9th will be Zydeco musical acts Wayne Toups and Geno Delafose.
On October 10th festival goers can look forward to Keyun & The Zydeco Masters, Zach Jones and the 45’s, Bottomland, Cameron Albright, Mike Ryan and Donahew will close out the night.
The annual Mr. and Mrs. Catfish Pageant will be featured on October 11th along with the Houston based group Bayou Roux.
