In Huntsville Police news, looking back over the past several days:
On Friday, a vehicle burglary was investigated in the 700 block of Circle Drive. A juvenile assaulted a family member in the 2500 block of Avenue M. A student assaulted a public servant in the 500 block of FM 2821. In the 500 block of FM 2821 a known juvenile was detained for possession of a controlled substance. In the 1900 block of Avenue M, Artie Louis McDuffie Jr. was arrested for assault in family violence.
On Saturday, an unknown person discharged a firearm within the city limits in the 500 block of 12th Street. In the 2200 block of Bobby Marks Drive, an unknown suspect used a victim’s food stamp information without consent. In the 300 block of Turner Street, an unknown suspect threatened to release intimate photos.
On Sunday, a known suspect assaulted a person in the 2200 block of Bobby K. Marks Drive. Three cases of criminal mischief were reported where property was damaged—one in the 2400 block of Montgomery Road, the second in the 700 block of 10th Street and the third in the 1400 block of Sycamore Avenue. At the 116 mile marker on I-45 Southbound, Huntsville PD assisted DPS and the Walker County Sheriff’s Office with a DWI/narcotics investigation. In a case of terroristic threat, in the 200 block of Willowbend, a known juvenile displayed a toy firearm in a threatening manner.
On Monday, a theft was reported in the 500 block of I-45 North. In the 600 block of State Highway 75 North, a known suspect threatened a victim with a firearm. An unknown suspect threatened a person in the 2400 block of Montgomery Road. In the 3400 block of Boettcher, a known student assaulted another student. In the 100 block of Colonel Etheredge, Terron Gambrell was arrested for burglary of a vehicle. In the 7000 block of State Highway 75, Earl Woods was arrested on an injury to a child warrant.
